Rambler’s Bride and an update
Dan Winchester, my Western alter ego, has a new novel available called Rambler’s Bride. It’s book two in the Rambler series. Rambler, of course, was book one. I expect to write more Rambler books. He’s a fun character. If you enjoy Westerns, give those books a shot.
Update time. On the personal front, I just moved to a small town in Kansas to stay with a friend for a time. I don’t know how long I’ll be here. Maybe six months? We’ll see how things go. I prefer living in a city. At the moment, I’m out in the country where you literally take dirt roads to get here. There are a variety of reasons for the move, but one of the big ones is that I want to be more focused on my writing. And out here, there’s not much else to do.
I finished Rambler’s Bride, and now I’m starting a new project. I think it will be a four-book series. I’ve wanted to write these books for many years. I’m hoping that being in the middle of nowhere will mean I’ll spend more time in the writing chair so the books will get done faster.
Meanwhile, if you don’t want to read a Western, you can always read one of my other books. Not many have read two of my personal favorites: Mystic Hollow and Hell Hunter. The second of those is a non-supernatural horror novel, and it’s the darkest thing I’ve ever written, but I like it. Not for the squeamish, though.
With a little luck, I’ll be in touch soon with a brand-new fantasy novel. Speaking of which, I should get back to work on it. Have a great weekend!
